MAKING DONATIONS TO O.P.S.

 

    The Ottawa Philatelic Society (OPS) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the enjoyment and study of philately in the Ottawa–Gatineau region.

We achieve this through our regular meetings, where members and guests come together to share their passion for stamps and postal history. Activities include:

  • Informal discussions and exchange of stamps
  • Specialized study groups
  • Guest speakers and presentations
  • Access to one of Canada’s premier philatelic libraries
  • Opportunities to exhibit and develop collections

OPS is also a proud supporter of ORAPEX, the annual two-day Ottawa Regional Association of Philatelic Exhibitions stamp show. This popular public event celebrates the hobby and includes a dedicated Youth Booth to encourage the next generation of collectors and promote philatelic awareness within the community.

 

    As a community-based organization, OPS welcomes financial support to help sustain and grow its activities.

We gratefully accept donated stamp collections, ensuring they remain in the hands of collectors who will value and appreciate them. Donations directly support our programs, outreach efforts, and events.
