Recently, one of our members suggested that we add this page to our website.  An excellent idea indeed.  For decades, many philatelists have deepend their area of interest to include postal markings and/or postal history.

It is hoped that progressively this page expands into various focus areas for further study.  Currently, work is being proposed to provide useful links and tools that might assist collectors in identifying postmarks.  As is often the case, these markings are incomplete when found on single stamps.  While various research sites do already exist, we hope to offer a broad, collective launch from this forum.

As well, it would be useful here to identify other literature that might assist philatelists both in regards to Canadian and worldwide materials.
