A REPEAT OFFENDER........

On Thursday, April 21, the OPS hosted this season's final exhibiting evening at the club. As a precursor to the upcoming ORAPEX show, members were encouraged to submit exhibits which was followed by brief discussion. Those present voted Nicole Lacourse's "DIFFERENT and UNUSUAL STAMPS" as the club favourite ! Nicole's keen eye for colourful materials, exceptional balance of presentation and interesting choice of theme have rewarded her once again. Congratulations !!!

FELICITATIONS !

Nicole Lacourse of the Ottawa Philatelic Society won the "People's Choice Award" presented to the Best Exhibit at the the recent MINIEX Philatelic Exhibition, held on Thursday, February 10,2011.

The exhibit, here offered complete (see below) also won the "Judges Choice Award" for best Topical-Thematic Exhibit - featuring Jules Verne and some of his Famous Storeis.
